Course Description

This course follows the NCTB syllabus for SSC Finance (Finance & Banking). It develops financial literacy and an understanding of how the monetary system and financial institutions work. Core coverage includes money and its functions, financial intermediaries and markets, Bangladesh Bank and commercial banking, deposit and loan products, payment systems (cheque/online/mobile), interest calculations, savings and investment instruments, stock exchange fundamentals, risk and return, insurance as risk-sharing (overview), and elements of public finance (government budget, revenue and taxation). Learners practice documents and forms, routine calculations, short case analysis, and exam-style responses aligned with SSC marking criteria.
